Currently in the Rochester Minnesota we have 216 active listings in NW Rochester, while we have 77 active listings in NE Rochester. The SE quadrant of Rochester has 108 active listings and SW Rochester has 82 listings active. In the last 24 hours we have seen 9 new listings, 6 listings calcelled and 5 have closed. One lsiting has expired and 8 have gone pending. In Rochester 71 listing contracts were extended, 8 came back on the market while 33 had price changes. We have seen an upturn in our local market with more buyers ready to write offers on homes.
The recent $7500 tax incentive for first time home buyers has helped our market sales. Buyers should consult their lenders and tax advisors for more information.

The past 24 hours has been active in the Rochester and South East Minnesota housing market. We have seen 8 new listings, 8 cancelled listings, 16 SOLD, 13 Expired listing contracts and 8 homes have gone under sales contracts. It's also interesting that we have had 31 price reductions in the last 24 hours. Over the past month the average list price on Rochester, Minnesota homes is $191,460 and the average days on market is 176. In the last 30 days 30 homes have sold in Rochester at an average list price of $156,575 and selling at an average of $154,188 according to th emost recent MLS data.

The Rochester, MN real estate market has seen a slight upturn with the mortgage rates falling.
In the last 24 hours our market has seen 18 new listings, 13 closed, 20 listings have had contracts expire and we have had 30 price reductions. Currently there are 831 homes for sale in Rochester. Minnesota is home to the Mayo Clinic which is consistently ranked as a top health care facility in the world. We are also home to IBM which employs over 4000 people in the computer industry.
